SAICE-PDP Needs Mentors!
I want to make a difference in the lives of young engineers.
SAICE-PDP is looking for energetic mentors who are registered engineering professionals and have either retired and would like to impart their knowledge or are self-employed and can dedicate time to mentoring in between formal commitments. Over the years we have been able to assist 100’s of graduates to develop the competence required for professional registration which has been very rewarding.
We need mentors to develop graduates towards registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and the South African Council for Project and Construction Management Professionals (SACPCMP), and registration with one of these Councils is a requirement to serve as a mentor.

We are seeking passionate and experienced engineers to join our mentoring programmes countrywide. Mentors are welcomed from across all provinces, and will be linked to candidates within their geographical location, as needed.
Mentors are expected to commit to 1-3 hours per candidate per month, to guide and support the professional development of aspiring engineers. Interaction will be online and in-person.
A reasonable hourly rate, including travel costs, is offered.
