The Municipal Infrastructure Support Agent (MISA) in partnership with SAICE-PDP, invites you to attend this 2-day course which covers the principles and concepts that unpin planning and implementation of LIC/EPWP projects.
- Select suitable projects.
- Incorporate LIC principles in design.
- Specify LIC works and compile contract documentation.
- Successfully implement LI projects under the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP).
- Participation in an interactive workshop.
- Various practical activities and discussions which will enhance your understanding of LIC.
- Heads of Technical Departments, Senior Managers, Project Managers, BID & Procurement Teams, Engineers and Technicians
- Project Managers, Construction Managers, Designers, Engineers, and Technicians
- Any built environment professionals involved in the planning of infrastructure work establishment

Please note the following requirements:
- Delegates are responsible to ensure that they have sufficient data to cover the full duration of the online course.
- According to the ECSA requirements for online training, a compulsory online assessment must be completed.
- To receive a CPD certificate a 75% pass mark is required. Less than 75% will result in an attendance certificate which can be submitted for IPD.

Thando Hlanguza
B Tech
Thando Hlanguza is the EPWP Sector Manager at Naidu consulting and manages the Economic Development Division. He holds a BTech in Civil Engineering. With over 10 years’ experience with the public sector on the implementation of EPWP and Labour-Intensive Construction Projects, he is an accredited NQF facilitator and assessor and provides training on the LIC courses at Naidu Consulting.
