- According to the ECSA requirements for online training, a compulsory online assessment must be completed.
- The pass mark for the test is 75%
Our Facilitator
Jan Bierman
B Eng (Civil)
Jan Bierman an completed his B Eng (Civil) degree at the University of Pretoria. He started his career in design and road supervision at MBS, then freelanced for consulting engineers on road construction projects as ARE and RE. He has developed a proven quality system and supervision management style after working for many Consulting Engineers over the last 25 years. He has taken many students under his wing and developed a manual for supervision staff on road projects. Jan has broad supervision experience working with a wide variety of Clients, Consultants and Contractors both big and small in urban and remote regions. He has supervised many roads and bridges all over South Africa and in Mozambique. He understands the dynamics of each type of project, supervising small to large projects and being a part of the supervision and planning team. Jan has supervised over 800km of road construction and 12 new bridges and has worked for more than 15 consulting engineer.
